In Bravo, Amelia Bedelia, that wacky Amelia Bedelia ends up playing practically every musical instrument in the orchestra and becomes the surprise hit of the school concert. As readers of the "Amelia Bedelia" books know, this housekeeper takes everything literally.

For instance, when Mrs. Rogers tells her to go to the train station and pick up the music conductor, Amelia responds, "I tried my best, but he was too big for me to pick up." Similar mix-ups occur. For example, when the conductor referring to musical instruments asks, "Do you play?", Amelia says, "I play every day."
