Frequently Asked Questions...


Q: I ordered two tickets, and I don't think you seated them together.

A: Chances are that they are probably together.  Sections 1, 4, and 7 of the auditorium are odd numbered.  Sections 2 and 5 are numerically numbered beginning with 100.  Section 3, 6, and 8 of the auditorium are even numbered.  For example...if you are in Sec. 1, Row B, Seat 1 and Seat 3, your seats are together.  Section 2, Row D, Seats 104 and 105 are together.  Section 6, Row P, Seats 18 and 20 are together.

Q: How do I get tickets?

A: Full Season and Single Event Tickets are available at the Society's offices located at 120 South Green Street in Greentown, IN  46936 or by phone at 765-628-4025 or 888-649-ARTS.  Single Event Tickets can be purchased at the offices, by telephone, or via our website by clicking on the buy now option.  To offer by mail, please print out the Ticket Order Form and mail to the above address.

Q: How do I pay for my tickets?

A: Visa and Mastercard are accepted in person, over the phone, and over the internet.  Cash, Check, Visa, Mastercard, and/or Money Orders are accepted at the offices.

Q: Can I buy tickets at the door?

A: Tickets are sold on a first come first seated basis.  If tickets are still available the date of the show, the box office will open one hour prior to show time for sales.

Q: What is the service charge for?

A: The service charge helps to pay for the Society overhead costs.

Q: Do you offer group discounts?

A: The Society offers a 5% discount for groups of 25 - 54.  Groups of 55+ are offered a 10% discount.  Discounts are subject to availability..

Q: Does my child require a ticket?

A: Children two (2) and under may sit on an adult's lap and do not require a ticket if they are not occupying a seat.

Q: If I change my mind can I get a refund?

A: All tickets are non-refundable.  Tickets are transferable, so if your plans change, give your tickets to a friend!

Q: What time should I arrive at the auditorium?

A: All seats are reserved.  The doors of the auditorium open one hour prior to the performance.  House doors will open no later than 20 minutes prior to the show.

Q: Can I come if I am running late?

A: The Society makes every attempt to have performances start on time.  Latecomers will be seated in-between numbers at the discretion of the ushers.

Q: Can I smoke and/or drink in the building?

A: The Eastern Howard Performing Arts Center is tobacco and alcohol free.

Q: How do you pay for these shows?

A: Of course ticket sales pays for a portion of the performance, sponsorships help a great deal, as well as the individual contributions of our Friends.  We also receive in-kind donations.

Q: Are your offices at the box office?

A: No, the Society has separate offices located at 120 South Green Street in Greentown, IN  46936.  The Society relocates ticket sales to the box office one hour prior to each performance.

Q: Where is the auditorium?

A: The auditorium is located at 421 South Harrison Street in Greentown, IN.  It is on the Northwest corner of Eastern High School.

Q: Do you own the auditorium?

A: No.  The Eastern Howard Performing Arts Center is a part of the Eastern Howard School Corporation.  We rent the auditorium with the permission of the administration and school board.

Q: How many seats are in the auditorium?

A: 823.

Q: Is the auditorium wheel chair accessible.

A: Yes.

Q: Can I get my money back if a show is cancelled?

A: Refunds are made only in the event that a show is cancelled and not re-scheduled.

Q: How do I get on your mailing list?

A: You can email us at mailinglist@ehpas.com, or you can call the offices at 765-628-4025 or 888-649-ARTS.

Q: How do you select the artists?

A: A subcommittee of the Society board meets to discuss ideas from the community, personal preferences and ideas.  The subcommittee and office staff research the groups and submits acts to the full Society for their approval.  Email us with your ideas.

Q: Why can't I order your tickets from another outlet?

A: At this time, it is cost prohibitive for us to use an outside source to sell our tickets.
