| PLACE - Yesterday we signed off on the hotel for the upcoming Mid West Regional. The Ramada Inn Airport will host, and dates are Friday, February 7 through Sunday, February 9, 1997. Please put these on your calendars, and pass them along to as many Brothers as you feel would be interested in participating. Probationary members are also welcome to attend. Let me know if any chapters have a probationary class that they would like to initiate at the regional all star cast. |
| COST - The cost for collegiates will be sixty five dollars ($65.00), which will include Friday and Saturday night lodging, Saturday lunch and dinner banquet, registration fees and materials, and admission to all workshops, presentations and concerts. WHAT A DEAL!!!. Cigars not included. |
| IDEAS? - There is a committee that heads up the regional. Governors Rich Crosby, 25; Ed Klint, 3; Jeff Spoeri, 5; Kenton Barnes, 2, and myself in 28. Please e mail them or telephone me if you have any ideas or comments on the past year's regional and how we can improve in 1997. Now is the time to brainstorm in more precise terms what will be offered. Hopefully by early November we will have more definite plans to pass along. |
| ANSWERS? - What shall we call it? The INDY 500, in honor of what we expect in attendance? Do you know of a theme that would attract several hundred of our closest friends? Do you have ideas on what seminars or workshops would be most meaningful? What music ensembles would like to play for the opening ceremonies? Are there diggy dignitaries that you would like to meet up close and in person? |
